This is one of my favorite recipes, because it serves as the basic recipe for everyone’s favorite creamy, cheesy, noodle dish. Add any ingredient you’d like to this (spinach, basil, mushrooms, roasted tomatoes etc) to make it your own!

Yields1 Serving
Prep Time20 minsCook Time25 minsTotal Time45 mins

 1 tbsp Canola Oil
 3 dashes Salt
 1 Box of Fettuccine Noodles
 2 tbsp Olive Oil
 2 Cloves of Minced Garlic
 1 Heavy Cream
 1.50 cups Parmesan Cheese
 Salt to taste
 Pepper to taste

Noodle Instructions:
1

You can use whatever noodles you desire, but typically you wanna stick with fettuccine noodles.
1) Bring a pot full of salted water (not quite ocean salty but close) to a boil.
2) Add just a bit of oil to help your noodles not to stick.
3) Add desired amount of noodles and stir around, making sure to separate them as best as you can.
4) Every now and then, taste one to see if it’s done (This is pretty self explanatory; they’re done when you say they’re done).
5) Strain and rinse with cold water (that will stop the cooking process of the noodles).

Sauce Instructions:
2

1) Start with a 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a deep pan or pot, and heat to medium (usually around 6 or 7 on an electric stove).
2) Add your minced garlic, and spoon it around until it is nice and fragrant.
3) Add your heavy cream, and bring to a soft boil.
4) Throw in your Parmesan cheese, and stir until melted.
5) Continue to simmer the sauce until your ideal thickness is reached.
6) Add your pasta.
7) Salt & pepper to taste.
8) Enjoy!

Make it your own!

If adding other ingredients: throw them in around the same time you add the garlic, unless it’s spinach, basil or something leafy. In that case, add after step 3.
