Located in Cullman (AL), the 4D Family Farm is only 45 minutes from Birmingham about 15 miles off of I65 North at the Hanceville exit and well worth the drive. With lots of land, the farm activities are spread out and there’s lots of room for the kiddos to run around and burn off energy from the cotton candy!
Admission to the fall farm includes lots of stuff such as the pillow bounce, the two-story play barn, the kiddie cow train, corn maze, a huge 80 foot slide, petting animals, rubber duck races, a 200 foot zipline, the hayride to the pumpkin patch and more! It was fun to see all the farm animals in a natural setting and conducive to children feeding and petting them.
There are a few things that come with an extra cost at the farm. Pony rides, the Gemstone Mine, corn cannon and the purchase of pumpkins are additional. To get the full list, admission prices, and farm dates/hours, check out the web site at www.4dfamilyfarm.com.
We loved visiting as a family, but thinking outside the box a little, this would be an awesome activity for a Girl Scout or Boy Scout group, youth sports teams or a birthday party. With a little planning, it would also be a fantastic gathering for friends or loved ones driving in from different areas of the state. There are lots of possibilities and ways to celebrate fall on the farm!
Make sure you catch it in 2017!
