If you’re lucky enough to be a Trussville resident (or know one who could bring you as a guest), you can enjoy the city pool and splash pad this summer. You can register your family to be members to the pool for $215.

A hose and a sprinkler in the backyard (especially on the trampoline) can be very entertaining… but taking your kids to one of these splash pads could take their water play to the next level. Birmingham has all kinds of “water”ful fun to indulge in!
Tips to Remember:
- Bring swim diapers.
- Don’t forget to pack an extra set of dry clothes for everyone to change back into after playing.
- Sunscreen is important! Remember to reapply often.
- Take water bottles for everyone in the family—they’re essential! Dehydration is no joke.
- Snacks are always a good idea, whether you bring them in with you or leave them in the car. Tired and hungry kids can often be satisfied with a pack of peanut butter crackers, fruit snacks, or a granola bar.
- Check the hours before you go (and if you’re going to a location that requires you to be a resident, be sure your license has that town’s address on it!).
- Water-friendly shoes will save you and your kids from slipping and/or ruining a good pair of “everyday” shoes.
