FLOWER MASON JARS
Materials
- Mason jar
- Mod Podge
- Pressed flowers
- Paintbrush
- Twine
- Tweezers
Directions
- Use the paintbrush to apply a thin layer of Mod Podge to a small area of the jar.
- With tweezers, gently place the pressed flowers onto the Mod Podge in any pattern you like.
- Once the flowers are arranged, carefully brush another layer of Mod Podge over them to seal.
- Let it dry completely.
- Finish by tying a piece of twine around the top of the jar in a bow.
DIY GLITTER CALM-DOWN JAR
Materials
- Mason jar
- Warm water
- Glitter glue
- Food coloring
- Spoon or stick for stirring
Directions
- Fill your mason jar about ¾ full with warm water. Warm water helps the glue mix better.
- Add clear glitter glue until the jar is nearly full, about ¼ of the jar should be glue.
- Add food coloring if you’d like to tint the water.
- Stir well until it is fully mixed. Tighten the lid and shake to test.

- Use the Sharpies to draw a design directly onto the mason jar. Try creating an intricate pattern, colorful blocks, or even a picture of something that brings you joy. Avoid going over the same area multiple times or overlapping colors, as it may cause smudging.
- Once dry, place the jar somewhere sunlight can shine through to reveal the beautiful stained-glass effect.
