Get a taste of this—Aldridge Gardens is hosting Taste of Hoover on Thursday, October 9 from 5–8 p.m., and you will not want to miss it! Tickets cost $45 for members of the Aldridge Gardens, and $50 for non-members, which is really a steal when you consider just how much food you’ll be consuming. No matter your taste buds’ preferences, there will be plenty of savory bites for you to enjoy amid the gardens while listening to live music. Restaurants, caterers, and dessert shops from all over town are coming with samples of their best dishes and drinks. There will be almost every cuisine imaginable, including Mexican, Asian, Cajun, Italian, American, and even breakfast (although we’re not sure that’s even technically considered a “cuisine”). 

The food lineup includes HERO Doughnuts and Buns, La Paz Restaurant & Catering, City Bowls, Saws BBQ Hoover, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, Biscuit Belly, Rock N Roll Sushi, Eugene’s Hot Chicken, and more. Of course, why not skip straight to dessert with scrumptious sweet companies like Michelle’s Chocolate Lab, The Whole Scoop, Cookie Fix Brock’s Gap, and Emily’s Heirloom Pound Cakes? Needless to say, make sure to come hungry! Oh my, all this talk about food is making my mouth water… At least at the Taste of Hoover, you’ll be able to quench your thirst with organic juices, coffee, and special adult beverages. Note that there are no “physical” tickets—once you submit your payment, your name will be added to the “will call” list and you will check in once you arrive at the event. You can park in the Aldridge Gardens parking lot or use the free shuttle service from the old Bed Bath & Beyond lot in the Riverchase Shopping Center.
