  • WoodLawn Fall Festival: 4–7 p.m. at i3 Academy (230 49th St. N., Birmingham)
    • Food trucks, games, music, open houses, and more.

Wednesday, October 22

  • Glow with God Trunk or Treat: 6–7:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Birmingham (2209 Lakeshore Dr.) 
    • Popcorn, hot dogs, cotton candy, face painting, mega bounce house, a scavenger hunt, candy, and more!

  • Fall Festival and Laser Light Show: 6–8:30 p.m. at Dawson Family of Faith (1114 Oxmoor Rd., Birmingham)
    • Carnival games, rides, inflatables, bingo, petting zoo, magician, live music, a laser light show, and more.
  • The Summit Spooktacular: 5–8 p.m. at The Summit (214 Summit Blvd., Birmingham) 
    • Store-to-Store Trick-or-Treating at participating stores, a live DJ,  food trucks, pumpkin decorating, hair glitter & braids with Fabubus, face painting & balloon twisting, and more.

  • Harvest Jam: 6–8 p.m. at The Village at Lee Branch (1001 Doug Baker Blvd., Hoover)
    • Live music, food trucks, 35+ local vendors, free kids’ activities and giveaways, and adoptable puppies from GBHS.
  • Shades Valley YMCA Trunk or Treat: 5:30–7 p.m. at Shades Valley YMCA
  • Spookfest 2025: 4:30–7 p.m. at the Hoover Met. 
    • Safe trick-or-treating, food trucks, games, candy trails, inflatables, live music, prizes, and a showing of Beetlejuice on the big screen.
  • Spooky Science: All day at McWane Science Center. Admission cost required.

Friday, October 31

  • Drive Through Trunk or Treat: 6–7:30 p.m. at Christian Life Fellowship (6107 Highway 31, Calera)
  • Fall Festival: 5–8 p.m. at Rushing Spring Baptist Church 
  • Spooky Science: All day at McWane Science Center. Admission cost required.
  • Vulcan’s Spooktacular: 5:30–8:30 p.m. at Vulcan Park & Museum. $8–10.
    • Trick-or-treating stations throughout the museum, photo opportunities around the Park, music, face painting, complimentary popcorn, and refreshments.
