If you’re like me and just realized the month of October is already over halfway over and you haven’t made it to a trunk-or-treat yet, fear not—there are still plenty of fabulous Halloween events you can make it to this season before the big day! 

Tuesday, October 21

Wednesday, October 22

• Glow with God Trunk or Treat: 6–7:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Birmingham (2209 Lakeshore Dr.) 
  • Popcorn, hot dogs, cotton candy, face painting, mega bounce house, a scavenger hunt, candy, and more!

Friday, October 24

• Fall Festival and Laser Light Show: 6–8:30 p.m. at Dawson Family of Faith (1114 Oxmoor Rd., Birmingham)
  • Carnival games, rides, inflatables, bingo, petting zoo, magician, live music, a laser light show, and more.
• The Summit Spooktacular: 5–8 p.m. at The Summit (214 Summit Blvd., Birmingham) 
  • Store-to-Store Trick-or-Treating at participating stores, a live DJ,  food trucks, pumpkin decorating, hair glitter & braids with Fabubus, face painting & balloon twisting, and more.

Saturday, October 25

• Alabaster Fall Festival: 10 a.m.–3 p.m. at Amphitheater at City Hall (1953 Municipal Way)
  • Free event includes carnival rides, hay rides, inflatables, live music, a Trick-or-Treat Trail. Bring money for vendor purchases, food, and pumpkin painting.

  • They will have a free hot dog lunch, chili cook-off, dessert, and cake-walk.

• Hoots & Howls 2025: Daytime Halloween Event: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Birmingham Zoo

  • They’ll have hotdogs, hayrides, and loads of candy.

  • Think pizza, hot dogs, chips, water, and (trunk)loads of candy, of course.
