Highlands School’s Summer Camp

Highlands School’s Higher Degree of Learning continues all summer long through a dynamic and inclusive Summer Camp program designed to engage and inspire students while school is out. Open to all students in the Birmingham-metro area, Highlands offers a wide range of options for children entering 4K through 11th grade, with age-appropriate experiences that balance learning and fun. Families may choose from Traditional Day Camp for rising 4K through 6th grade—featuring weekly themes, water play, outdoor time, creative projects, movie days, and more for Seekers, Trailblazers, and Pioneers—or select from a variety of Enrichment Camps offering active, artistic, academic, and just-for-fun opportunities. Camps are available in morning, afternoon, or full-day formats, with full-day camps including lunch. Traditional Day Camp is led by experienced staff and is offered as a full day (9 a.m.–4 p.m.) or as a half-day option when paired with a coordinating enrichment camp, ensuring flexible, high-quality summer care and learning for every family.
