At Big Blue Marble Academy (BBMA) preschool, we understand that the first five years of a child’s life are transformative for growing children’s minds and developing their social-emotional skills. Our Passport to Learning® curriculum is a whole-child framework built around nine essential developmental domains, ensuring children grow socially, emotionally, cognitively, physically, creatively, and academically—preparing them for kindergarten and life. In fact, in 2025, 94% of BBMA Pre-K students met or exceeded kindergarten readiness benchmarks across all five key developmental areas: language and literacy, cognitive development, social-emotional learning, physical development, and approaches to learning.

At BBMA, we nurture natural curiosity while introducing foundational academic skills, and we cultivate character, empathy through service-learning experiences.

At the core of our curriculum is a focus on global education, which enhances children’s perspectives and understanding of the world outside their community. We teach children the importance of giving back and helping others in need through hands-on activities and “Heart Projects.” We provide the structure children need, while also instilling a lifelong love of learning.

Flexible Options to Support Every Family’s Needs

We support today’s busy families with convenient options that match their schedules and needs, including flexible hours, part-time options, and year-round programming. In addition to our early learning program, we also support older students with before- and after-school care, summer camp, as well as spring break camps!
