Camp Juliette Low (CJL) is a private, residential summer camp for girls, located on Lookout Mountain in Cloudland, Georgia. CJL celebrates outdoor living and recreation through fun and challenging programs like archery, horseback riding, canoeing, ropes course, climbing wall, camp-outs, fire building, outdoor cooking, hiking and backpacking. CJL campers live in 4-person platform tents, where they can enjoy the outdoors, grow in confidence, develop independence, and form life-long friendships.
CJL has been preparing girls for confident living and leadership since it was founded in 1922 by Juliette Gordon Low, founder of the Girl Scouts. Today, CJL operates independently from the Girl Scouts, but proudly preserves its rustic setting, time-honored traditions, and original mission: to provide girls with exciting, outdoor experiences that foster self-confidence, promote teamwork, encourage independence, and develop leadership skills.
One-week, two-week and mini-camp sessions are available throughout the summer for girls ages 8-15. Sessions fill early, so register soon!
