About UAB ArtPlay
Located in the historic William Robertson residence in Birmingham’s Southside. ArtPlay features performing arts studios, a small stage, writing nooks, practice rooms, and community spaces. The program began as part of the Alys Stephens Center’s “Kids’ Club” initiatives and launched its first classes on January 18, 2011, thanks to a generous gift from Jane Stephens Comer.
Today, ArtPlay serves as UAB’s community arts education and outreach center.
