This holiday season, venture to Narnia in Birmingham Children’s Theatre’s next production in our monumental 75th Anniversary Season as we revisit C.S. Lewis’ classic story The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe.
This children’s literature favorite comes to life onstage with all the magic and mystery of Aslan the great lion, his struggle with the White Witch, and the adventures of four children who inadvertently wander from an old wardrobe into the exciting, never-to-be-forgotten Narnia. This story of love, faith, courage and giving – with its triumph of good over evil – is a true celebration of life and sure to warm young hearts this December.
Birmingham Children’s Theatre production of The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe is adapted by Joseph Robinette and directed by Henry Scott. Public performances of this production begin December 3rd through December 17th, and is recommended for ages 6 years and older. The approximate run time is 75 minutes and tickets are $10 for Children (free for children under 2) and $22 for Adults. The event will be held at the BJCC. Birmingham Children’s Theatre is a sensory friendly facility and partners with Kulture City to provide sensory safe spaces on and off stage.
Public performances are Saturdays at 11 a.m. A Pay-What-You-Can performance will take place on Saturday, December 10th at 11 a.m., and a special Cookies and Cocoa evening performance will be held on Friday, December 16th at 7 p.m.
