McWane Science Center Camps make learning an unforgettable adventure that you just can’t experience anywhere else!

In one week of camp, your budding scientist can discover a dinosaur, travel into outer space or explore the ocean floor. Various themes and activities allow children to experience something new each day. Blast off in Cosmo Camp or get creative in Smarty Arty Pants Camp. Dive in to marine biology or dig paleontology. The flexible programs allow you to choose as many programs as you want for your child, from just one session of exploration to full weeks of fun and learning!

McWane Science Center offers 8 weeks of summer fun and learning! Bring your curiosity and sense of wonder for hands-on, minds-on, science and fun this summer! Summer camps offer further inquiry into science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) topics for children 4 to 13 years old. Campers can learn about the deep oceans, journey into outer space, build robots or spend time with our McWane animals. Join us for these and many more engaging camp themes.

REGISTRATION
Campers should register for the grade they’ll be attending in the fall of 2020. Each of our camps is designed for the skill level of that camp, therefore, grade levels must be observed. Registrants may attend only those camps for which they are registered. Registrations are not transferable. Registration closes the Monday prior to the first day of camp. Please note that PreK-Kindergarten campers must be four years old and potty-trained by June 1st.

Enrollment is limited to ensure a quality experience. In order to maintain this quality of learning and fun, we will offer two simultaneous 1st-2nd grade camps every week. Camp themes and activities will be identical for each classroom. Same-classroom requests will be guaranteed for siblings only. All other requests will be considered based on availability. Requests may be made to pchowning@mcwane.org.
