Get ready to book it to the Homewood Library Foundation’s novel annual Block Party on Saturday, April 25, from 4–6:30 p.m. at the Homewood Public Library. This community event, sponsored by SouthPoint Bank, puts the fun in fundraiser with music, food, beverages, and family-friendly activities for all ages. Rain or shine, you won’t want to miss it.
Did you know? The Homewood Public Library hosts 75–100 events every month!

HOW TO GET IN:
No need to buy your ticket in advance—you can snag one at the door! Tickets for adults ages 21 and up cost $25, and tickets for kids ages 4–20 are just $10. Be sure to bring your littles—ages 0–3 get in free with the purchase of an adult ticket.

SO, WHAT DOES YOUR TICKET GET YOU?
All kinds of delicious food samples from local restaurants, along with cold beverages to sip while the kids enjoy festive activities like a bouncy house, book-themed carnival games, and more. There will also be a silent auction featuring a variety of goodies donated by event sponsors, which you can bid on throughout the block party.
Did you know? According to 2018 and 2019 statistical reports, the Homewood Public Library ranked number one in the state across the board in services—including circulation, visits, number of programs, and program attendance—for its population size of 20,000–49,000 people.

MEET YOU AROUND THE BLOCK!
It’s going to be the place to be on Saturday night, with live music and plenty of friends and neighbors hanging out and catching up. So grab your kids (or a friend) and come out to support your local library! All proceeds from the Block Party will benefit the library and its programs.
