Taste of Pelham is hosting its 5th annual installment on April 3rd at Pelham Civic Complex and Ice Arena from 6 to 8 p.m. It is a food tasting and social event presented by the Pelham Library Guild, an evening promising full tummies and lots of fun! Plus, all of the funds raised go towards advancements at the library, including adding teleconferencing equipment to the Mobley conference room.
“My favorite part of the event is how it brings the community together,” shares Mary Campbell, Director of Pelham Public Library. “Many people attend every year so it feels like a family reunion in a way. Oh, and the food is pretty good too.”
There’s no better way to try all of the incredible local restaurants’ offerings than the price of one ticket. From hearty bites from Half Shell Oyster House, Joe’s Italian, and Smiley Brothers Specialty Foods to sweet desserts from places like Emily’s Heirloom Pound Cakes and Fusion Brownie, you’ll be in foodie heaven. There’s even some high-quality chains planning to make an appearance, including Carrabba’s and Texas Roadhouse. And you already know last year’s overall winner Gumbo to Geaux is coming back too… Need we say more?
As you sample all of the vendors’ food, be thinking about your favorites, because you have the opportunity to vote for who should win the 2025 “Best Bite” award! Of course, we expect you might need something to sip while you eat… so keep your eyes peeled for Trunk Tea Spirit-Free Cocktails.
Tickets may be purchased on Eventbrite or at the Pelham Public Library. Tickets are $40 in advance or $50 at the door, and they will be worth every penny. (You might want to skip lunch so you can make room in your stomach for all of the bites!)
See you there!
