Farm Bowl + Juice Co. is a staple of downtown Homewood, known for its delicious smoothies and açai bowls, fresh juices, and wellness-driven menu. (And don’t forget the coffee!) Now, the goodness is spreading—they’re opening a new location in Hoover at Knox Square across from the Hoover Met (5846 Elsie Rd., Hoover), where they’ll serve all of your favorites.
“We’re really excited to bring our wellness brand to the Hoover community,” explains Andrea Snyder, owner of Farm Bowl + Juice Co. “Everything on our menu is plant-based: wholefood smoothies, organic açai, and cold-press juices.” In fact, Farm Bowl + Juice Co. is the only facility in the Birmingham area with a large-scale cold-press juicing process.
They’re open for breakfast, lunch, or an afternoon treat, and not only is it all tasty—it’s also supporting a good cause. Every month, they partner with a charity and donate part of their proceeds to help promote good in the world. This month, they’re partnering with Lululemon in support of the Lulu Strong Foundation, which “empowers communities by helping amputees gain access to cutting-edge prosthetics and innovative therapies.”
What makes Farm Bowl + Juice Co. unique is their dedication to more than a yummy pitstop in your day—they strive to help customers on their wellness journey. “We’re quick, we’re fresh, and we’re fun, and we want to make [healthy] food accessible to everybody in a way that’s approachable and not intimidating,” Andrea explains. If you look around the restaurant, you’ll notice pictures of their local producers displayed proudly—talk about fresh!
Their grand opening is Thursday, July 10 from 5–8 p.m., featuring a live DJ, libations, and giveaways—all things wellness, of course. Keep an eye out for special guests US Men’s National Team and Crystal Palace centerback Chris Richards (he’ll be signing autographs from 6–7 p.m.), Lulu Gribbin, and ambassadors from Lululemon.
