What if I told you that you could feast on an endless supply of s’mores, dive into a delicious meal from Taco Mama, shop at cute local pop-up shops, and raise a toast (with an Avondale beer or a soft drink!) to an awesome local cause, all for $35 in advance or $40 at the door?

Each adult ticket comes with 2 beer tickets (water & soft drinks are free), a meal from Taco Mama, and as many s’mores as you can eat.

Yes, it’s true. Join us for the 13th Annual S’mores and Pours on June 5th from 5–9:30 p.m. at Avondale Brewing Company. Bring your kids and your dogs—they might have more fun than you with activities like an obstacle course, face painting, and a visit from the beloved miniature horse Cinderella. Children age 5 and under are free, and ages 6–18 are $10. Plus, treats for your furry “children.”

You can enter to win raffles with some great prizes when you walk in and then stroll the boho-chic dreamland and peruse local artists’ work, all while listening to T.U.B – The UnKnamed Band. And did we mention it’s a fundraiser?! “S’mores & Pours is not just one of our key annual fundraisers, it is the signature event of our Junior Board,” states Sian Eastwood, Director of Outreach & Development / BridgeWays Alabama. “More than just a fundraiser, S’mores & Pours directly fuels our mission. BridgeWays teaches young people the core values of kindness, caring, and respect for themselves and others. As the needs of childhood evolve, so do we! BridgeWays’ programs remain essential and responsive, offering vital support and guidance to youth, parents, and educators.”

So what, exactly, are you supporting when you help BridgeWays? Eastwood explains: “Each year, we provide direct services to over 14,000 young people, whether in classrooms, out-of-school time programs, or at historic Camp Fletcher in unincorporated southwest Jefferson County. Every dollar raised helps us continue this meaningful work right here in our community.” BridgeWays is having a tremendous impact on our local Birmingham community, and you get to play a part—all from eating a s’more or two!

“What makes this event truly special is hard to pinpoint. It is the collective experience of every element coming together. From our enthusiastic attendees and stunning decorations to engaging activities for kids, exciting raffles, delicious food and beverages, and lively music, each aspect contributes to a unique atmosphere. The boho-chic vibes create an ambiance unlike anything else in Birmingham!” – Sian Eastwood

You can snag your tickets on eventbrite.com or when you walk up. Mark your calendar, because you’re not going to want to miss this event! From the food to the festivities to the fellowship, it’s gonna leave you coming back for s’more.
