The Birmingham Zoo is inviting the community to join us on weekends during the month of October for our new daytime Halloween event, Hoots & Howls! Perfect for the entire family, this re-imagined holiday event will be held from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays through October 24-25, as well as Friday and Saturday, October 30-31 during regular Zoo hours.
Hoots & Howls offers something for everyone to enjoy! Guests can partake in the happy haunts by wearing your favorite costume. Enjoy trick-or-treating in the new Candy Cave located in the Zoo’s Reptile Building. Take a wild ride around the Zoo on our Haunted Express Train and go for a spin on the Cobweb Carousel. Fall and holiday-themed animal enrichment will take place every day of the event, in addition to animal greetings, appearances by special guests, and habitat decorating contests between Zoo staff from various departments!
