What is The Special Needs Expo?

It is a FREE, day-long exhibition where families can learn about products, support groups, recreational activities, healthcare, therapy, and many other services for children and adults with special needs and have a little fun, too. Now in its 12th year in Birmingham!

How is the Expo Promoted?

Birmingham Parent promotes the event all through the year in Birmingham Parent magazine, on Facebook, Twitter and online at www.birminghamparent.com. Birmingham Parent enjoys strong media relationships. The 12th Annual Special Needs Expo 2023 will be promoted on local television and radio by media sponsors.

Who Exhibits at the Special Needs Expo?

Besides the many non-profit and for-profit organizations who exhibit each year, we also allow organizations who wish to SELL products at the event that are related to special needs or seek donations. It’s a great event for those who offer products and services for children with special needs, or anything related – financial planning, banking, health care, recreation, educational facilities, residential facilities, & support groups.
